St Neots Business Network Welcomes Susanne Stent

This month St Neots Business Network welcomes Susanne Stent as our guest speaker. Susanne will be educating us on all things Alconbury Weald including the Technical and Skills Centre that Susanne is setting up which will help meet the technical skills gaps in our area. She’ll also educate us on how an apprentice could be the best thing for your business.

Susanne started her career working in private language schools across Asia, Australia and in Kenya. Returning to the UK to do a Masters, she began working part time in a Further Education College and never looked back.

Why Further Education? Because it provides opportunities for people wanting to train or retrain in all vocational and professional subjects: from accountancy, counselling, carpentry and computer gaming to fitness instructing. You can never get bored!

Prior to working in Huntingdon, Susanne worked at Barking and Dagenham College, first as a teacher, then Coordinator. At Tower Hamlets College as Head of School and Assistant Director, and at Barnet and Southgate College as a Senior Manager and Campus Director.

Outside of college, Susanne’s husband runs an artisan coffee roasting business so you may also find her at the coffee beans stall on Ely Market or at food festivals!
